Custom Patch Hats

Your logo on a leather, woven, PVC or rubber patch, finished on the hat and ready to wear.

Service page form

Custom patch hats • Leather patches • Woven patches • PVC patches • Rubber patches

Pick the patch. We handle the rest.

Custom patch hats put your logo on a separate patch instead of stitching it straight into the hat. The patch material sets the look. Leather reads rugged and natural. Woven holds fine detail. PVC and rubber come out raised, bold, and bright.

We offer all four, on the Richardson 112 and other popular hats we supply. Send your logo and tell us the patch and the hat. We set up the art and send it to you for approval before anything is made.

What we handle.

Leather patches

A natural, rugged look that fits outdoor brands, workwear, and anything vintage.

Woven patches

Thin threads woven tight, so small text and fine lines stay sharp.

PVC patches

Molded and flexible, with solid color. PVC doesn’t soak up water, which suits outdoor and athletic hats.

Rubber patches

A raised, 3D look with a soft feel. Popular with streetwear and athletic brands.

Hats for your patch.

Patches go on hats we supply. A structured front gives a patch the firmest, cleanest base.

Richardson 112
The most requested trucker, and a classic base for a leather or PVC patch.
Other popular brands
Flexfit, New Era, Otto and other headwear lines. Tell us the style and color, and we confirm availability in your quote.
Stitched instead
Want the logo stitched into the hat? We do flat embroidery and 3D puff too.
Your own hats
We only add patches to hats we supply. Tell us the style and color you want and we’ll help you find the right one.

Leather vs woven vs PVC.

Each patch type has its own strengths. Here is how they compare, so you can pick the one that fits your logo.

Leather Woven PVC and rubber
Look Natural and rugged. Flat and smooth, like a clothing label. Raised, molded, and bold.
Detail Best with simple, bold logos. The top pick for small text and fine lines. Good with clean shapes and solid colors.
Color Usually one tone, set by the leather. Many thread colors in one patch. Bright, solid colors.
Best for Workwear, outdoor brands, and vintage looks. Detailed logos and low-key branding. Streetwear, athletic, and outdoor gear.

Artwork for patches.

A good patch starts with clean art. Send the best file you have, and we help if it needs work.

Send your art
  1. What to send

Your logo, in the cleanest file you have. A rough file is fine to start. We help with art if it needs work.

  2. Size

A hat front is small. Thin lines, low resolution images, and fine detail that can’t shrink are what fail, so we flag them early.

  3. Picking the patch

Detailed logo? Woven is the safe bet. Bold, simple mark? Leather, PVC and rubber all work.

  4. Approval

You approve the patch design before we produce the hats.

Questions people ask before ordering.

The garment, artwork and quantity can change the answer. These are the useful starting points.

What types of patches do you offer?

Leather, woven, PVC and rubber.

Which patch is best for a detailed logo?

Woven. The thin threads keep small text and fine lines sharp.

Which patch works best for workwear?

Leather or PVC. Leather gives a rugged, classic look, and PVC doesn’t soak up water, so it holds up on hats that see sweat and weather.

What if my logo is too detailed for a patch?

Woven patches handle the most detail. If it’s still too fine at hat size, we suggest a simpler version and show it to you before we make anything.

Can I get a leather patch on a Richardson 112?

Yes. The Richardson 112 is available, and it’s a classic base for a leather patch.

Can I bring my own hats?

No. We only put patches on hats we supply.

How long do patch hats take?

Standard turnaround is two weeks after approval. Rush depends on our current production load.
