Custom Embroidery

Clean, dimensional embroidery on hats, polos and fleece, digitized by hand for the garment it goes on.

Custom embroidery • Hats • Polos • Hoodies • 3D puff

Your logo, stitched for the piece it’s going on.

Send us your logo and tell us what you want it on. We’ll work out the size and placement, then build the stitch file by hand in house. That setup is called digitizing and runs $50 to $100 per design. We keep the file for reorders.

Looking for a hat, polo or hoodie? We source blanks from brands including Richardson, Nike, Port Authority and Independent Trading Co. Tell us the fit, color and budget you have in mind and we’ll narrow down the options.

What we handle.

Hats

Structured trucker caps, flat bills, performance caps and everyday dad hats from Richardson, Flexfit, New Era, Otto and other established headwear lines, stitched flat, in 3D puff, or finished with a patch.

Polos and work shirts

Nike, Adidas and TravisMathew for a premium athletic feel; Port Authority and OGIO for practical team and company programs.

Hoodies and crewnecks

Light through heavyweight fleece, with placements including left chest, sleeve, hood and back when the garment construction supports it.

3D puff

Foam under the stitches creates a raised result on suitable hat logos and lettering. We check the artwork and cap before recommending it.

What we stitch on.

We source the garment and plan the embroidery together. That matters because a structured cap, performance polo and heavyweight hoodie each need a different approach.

Hats
Richardson, Flexfit, New Era and Otto cover a wide range of profiles and closures. Ask about 3D puff when the logo has bold shapes that can carry the extra height. Leather, woven, PVC and rubber patches are options too.
Polos
Nike, Adidas, TravisMathew, Port Authority and OGIO range from premium performance styles to practical uniform programs. Left chest is classic, but it’s not the only option.
Hoodies and crewnecks
Independent Trading Co., Lane Seven, Gildan and other fleece lines in multiple weights. We check seams, pockets and lining before approving the placement.
Your own garments
We only embroider blanks we supply. That lets us choose the garment for the job and replace it if we make a mistake.

Embroidery vs print.

Embroidery is not always the right call. Here is how it stacks up against DTF and screen printing. We quote the method that fits your quantity, colors, and garment.

Embroidery DTF Screen printing
Look and feel Raised thread with real texture. 3D puff adds height. Smooth print that flexes with the fabric. A solid layer of ink, bold and flat.
Setup Hand digitizing, $50 to $100 per design. We keep the file. No screens. Every color prints from one film. One screen for each ink color.
Small runs Available, but DTF usually costs less per piece. Cost effective at low quantity. No minimums. The price per piece drops as quantity grows.
Best for Hats, polos, and logos that should look built in. Photos, gradients, and busy full-color art. Big runs of simple designs, generally over 200 pieces for one color.
Care Wash inside out. Wash cold, inside out. No fabric softener. Wash cold, inside out. No fabric softener.

Artwork for embroidery.

Send a PDF or PNG of your logo. If all you have is a rough file, send it anyway. We help with the art.

Send your art
  1. What to send

A PDF or PNG, plus the garment and logo size. If we already have your stitch file, we’ll check whether it needs changes for this piece.

  2. What does not stitch well

Thin lines, low resolution images, and fine detail that can’t shrink. A hat front or left chest is small, so we flag these before we digitize.

  3. Digitizing

Done by hand in house, never outsourced. It runs $50 to $100 per design, and the stitch file stays on record for reorders.

  4. Approval

You see and approve the design before a single stitch goes on a garment.

The path forward.

01

Send your logo

A PDF or PNG works. Tell us the garment and the quantity.

02

We digitize by hand

We build the stitch file for your garment and flag anything that won’t hold up.

03

We stitch

Standard turnaround is two weeks after approval. Rush depends on the current production load.

Where embroidery fits.

Here’s what we look at when your logo moves from one garment to another.

Branded polos and workwear

A chest logo is a common choice for staff polos. Send the shirt idea and logo so we can work out a size that reads clearly without feeling too heavy.

Hats and beanies

A curved cap and a stretchy beanie need different setups. Show us the style you want, and we’ll check how much space your logo has to work with.

Hoodies and crewnecks

Tell us where you want the stitching. Pockets, seams and thick lining can limit access, and a large filled design can make the fabric feel heavier.

Employee names

Send the names exactly as you want them stitched, with a garment size beside each one. We’ll check the space for the names and company logo together.

Questions people ask before ordering.

The garment, artwork and quantity can change the answer. These are the useful starting points.

Do you offer 3D puff embroidery?

Yes. 3D puff uses foam beneath the thread to raise bold shapes and lettering off the cap. It’s not a fit for every fine line or small detail, so we review the logo and headwear style first.

Which hat brands can you embroider?

Popular choices include the Richardson 112, Flexfit, New Era and Otto. We also source other cap styles when you need a different profile, closure, fabric or price point.

Which polo brands can you source?

Nike, Adidas, TravisMathew, Port Authority and OGIO are common requests. We narrow the options by fit, fabric, color, use and budget, then confirm availability before quoting.

Where can embroidery go on a hoodie?

Common placements include the left chest, sleeve, hood and upper back. Pocket seams, zippers and heavy lining can limit the embroidery field, so we confirm the exact placement on the chosen hoodie.

Do you keep my stitch file?

Yes. We keep the approved file on record for reorders. If you switch from a flat garment to a cap, we may recommend a separate version because the two surfaces stitch differently.

Is embroidery worth it for a small order?

It can be, especially when the raised thread is part of the look you want. If price matters more than texture on a short run of shirts or polos, we can compare it with DTF.

How should embroidered apparel be washed?

Turn the garment inside out and wash it cold on a gentle cycle. Avoid harsh bleach and high heat; air drying or a low dryer setting is easier on both the thread and the garment.
